The Insights Juried Arts Show is a mixed medium art show founded in 1980, and funded and operated since 1985 by the
Elora Arts Council. Competition is keen
and only 20-25% of pieces are accepted. This show, mounted at Wellington County Museum & Archives every summer,
is considered the largest and longest
art exhibit run by a non-institutional

This 6 foot wide quilt was made from 50 woven neckties belonging to Mr. Henry Sissons of Guelph. It depicts a stand of maple trees
in autumn, and pays tribute to his second career tending a maple forest after he retired from office work.
