Susan’s work at the Wellington County Museum and Archives is on permanent display at the following:
Far from Home: A Soldier’s Life at the Front, 1914-1918
First Story: The Neutrals in Wellington County
Pioneer Log Cabin and Barn Display
For the Barn Display, Susan built two life-sized Clydesdale horses, using lumber, fencing wire, foam, plaster, Japanese paper, real horse hair and egg shells for the eyes. This one she named Hamish, and his facial markings are in memory of a real Clydesdale by that name, who died in 2014.
