Do you have a favourite something that needs repair? Something you don’t want to dump in a landfill, but which definitely looks broken? You don’t want to have people see it looking like that, but you don’t want to pack it away either?

Susan also does restoration because she is able to figure out how to fix things. Here are some Before and After photos: Art Nouveau statue. A rug that a puppy chewed, painted and reformed into a turtle. A garden sculpture. A reproduction Chinese Xian Warrior. She is unwilling to restore a painting, however. This is partly because she does not have the technical training to do this, and partly because, as she says, it is too easy to “make it her own.”
