Jim, in Memoriam, watercolour
This painting was commissioned after the death of a man very much loved by his friends and family. Unfortunately, they had only a few snapshots of him, and none of them were without his hat or came with an attractive background. When they saw this painting, they were very moved, particularly because the background that I had selected from one of the photographs happened to contain many of the birdfeeders that Jim loved to make.
